A project bringing together CNFT projects in collaboration to raise ADA for the #TeamSeas initiative.
We asked 3 quickfire questions of each project taking part to get their take on why this is so important, what to expect from them in this drop and how they found working together with other projects.

Masked On Buttons
What prompted you to get involved in this project? Why should people buy into the collaboration?
As a CNFT project featuring button-eyed and strangely colored characters wearing face masks, we are particularly concerned with the state of the pandemic; and its aftermath to our environment. Over 1.5 billion face masks have entered our oceans since 2020! #TeamSeas global ocean clean-up efforts could effectively address this concern, and so we thought it’d be in line with our vision as a project, and our values as part of the CNFT community to support it.
People should buy into this collaboration, first: it’s not just for a good cause, but for a matter of global concern – our oceans and marine life! Second, the projects involved are just awesome! Third, this collaboration is really not just between CNFT projects, but between the whole CNFT community contributing to something bigger through NFT art.
What can we expect to see from you in this collaboration?
The artworks are animated and feature button-eyed, strangely colored characters swimming in the ocean with fish. Instead of wearing masks they’re covering their sharp teeth with snorkels.
Tilde ~ also created a special animated NFT with original music exclusive for SHOCKWAVES cNFT holders.
How different is it, working on a drop with other projects as opposed to working on your own project?
Doing a charity collaboration project with other awesome CNFT creators is a different kind of fun! It’s amazing to be a part of a movement where creators come together towards one goal – a glimpse of what CNFT community is and should always be.
Adalantic / D!saster and Pikaonix
What prompted you to get involved in this project? Why should people buy into the collaboration?
Marine conservation has always been at the heart of Adalantic. It’s what Adalantic was built around when we were first starting out. Getting the opportunity to work with such great artists in the CNFT space while also being able to help clean up the oceans was a no-brainer for us to join!
What can we expect to see from you in this collaboration?
Adalantic want to showcase our Adalantic Buddies having good CLEAN fun in a pristine beach. We also wanted to show a different art style that will be used for our upcoming second drop that will focus on having more of a “story book” style background.
How different is it, working on a drop with other projects as opposed to working on your own project?
It’s definitely nerve-wracking! We’re collaborating with some great artists and we want to make sure that our artwork is up to the standards of both the community and the artists we’re working with. But of course, it was a great experience working with them and being able to talk to them.
ADA Ninjaz
What prompted you to get involved in this project? Why should people buy into the collaboration?
We joined the project to support the initiative by TeamSeas. We had previously donated $3000 to TeamSeas on our own accord, and when the Masked on Buttons team approached us, we couldn’t say no. Working with these projects is great!
What can we expect to see from you in this collaboration?
Ninjaz doing their part in cleaning up the ocean!
How different is it, working on a drop with other projects as opposed to working on your own project?
There are obviously deadlines that have to be coordinated with everyone else, and a project that is leading everything (in this case the awesome Masked on Buttons). While it’s a bit different, it’s definitely a lot of fun, especially when it’s being done for a good cause!
Anim8bits
What prompted you to get involved in this project? Why should people buy into the collaboration?
We’re a fan of paying it forward and we’ve been donating proceeds to shark and/or ocean conservation, so when I saw this project is about ocean clean-up that made me say GO! I think a lot of people need to know what’s going on with the ocean and how polluted it is – and helping out through NFTs is a great way to show care for nature.
What can we expect to see from you in this collaboration?
We’re going back to the classic Anim8Bits art for this drop.
How different is it, working on a drop with other projects as opposed to working on your own project?
I like incorporating the themes of other projects into my own or vice versa, doing collabs make that possible and is very fun to do.
Happy Hoppers
What prompted you to get involved in this project? Why should people buy into the collaboration?
I heard about the Teamseas initiative by MrBeast while browsing YouTube and thought it was a cool and meaningful initiative. When MOB reached out to me to collab for Teamseas I was hyped and thought it was an opportunity to illustrate for a good cause. People should buy into the collab because proceeds from this sales will help save and clean up the ocean, we ought to do our part to save the environment. Also the artworks from the other artist are very awesome.
What can we expect to see from you in this collaboration?
An artwork which is related to cleaning up the ocean.
How different is it, working on a drop with other projects as opposed to working on your own project?
I guess working on a drop with other projects requires some coordination to keep the theme consistent while working on my own project allows more freedom. It is also challenging too since the theme might not be what I would usually do or think of.
Hornnies
What prompted you to get involved in this project? Why should people buy into the collaboration?
We don’t market ourselves as a charity-centric project as our goal has always been building the SuperBull App. However, we have always wanted to find ways to give back. So with Mr.Beast, one of our favourite YouTubers, starting this TeamSeas event, it was just a perfect opportunity!!
Earlier this month, we donated to TeamSeas, we realized that there is no Team Cardano, so we created one! We are hoping with this movement, we can show the world how amazing the Cardano Community is!
What can we expect to see from you in this collaboration?
We have designed two special TeamSeas Hornnies, and have plans to make these NFTs SuperBull compatible!
How different is it, working on a drop with other projects as opposed to working on your own project?
To be frank, our team is just a group of three university best friends with computer engineering background. Being able to work with professional teams like MOB, ADA Ninjaz, and Happy Hoppers is just a blessing. We definitely learned a bunch from them.
The Low Poly Project
What prompted you to get involved in this project? Why should people buy into the collaboration?
I like to save the planet and the future generation. Yes! It’s for the future generation.
What can we expect to see from you in this collaboration?
3D art.
How different is it, working on a drop with other projects as opposed to working on your own project?
When working with other projects you meet new people and they became your friends.
SharkNFTs
What prompted you to get involved in this project? Why should people buy into the collaboration?
We’ve always been passionate about saving sharks and other marine animals. And we realized that CNFTs can be a great way to promote this advocacy and do something we believe in.
What can we expect to see from you in this collaboration?
For this collaboration project, we’re releasing Pating Series #01, a follow-up to our first-ever token from April 2021. The token is also made by CSQ, the artist who made the Pating Series #00.
How different is it, working on a drop with other projects as opposed to working on your own project?
When you work on your own, you really don’t have to bother with anyone else. But at the same time working with other projects, though tough, is very exciting. It helps you learn more about yourself by working with others.
